La natura è la vera creatrice.

L’Alabastro è un “solfato di calcio biidrato” cristalli di gesso che emanano una luce propria. Questa parte di Alabastro, esterna, viene tagliata e considerata scarto di lavorazione, per estrarre il cuore del blocco. Il pezzo evidenzia la traccia dello scalpello usato per la pulitura. Fra le evidenti venature sono state incastonate foglie di leccio e sassi di mare che mettono in risalto le caratteristiche dell’Alabastro medesimo. La luce led fa risaltare il chiaro-scuro naturale della propria formazione.

L’Alabastro è stato lavorato e trattato con tecniche tradizionali, nel rispetto delle proprie peculiarità.

Alabaster, bihydrated calcium sulphate, is a translucent stone.

This piece of alabaster belongs to the external part of the alabaster ovoid which is chiseled away and considered to be processing waste. Here the chisel marks are clearly discernible. Holm oak foliage and beach pebbles have been added in between the veins to highlight the natural features of the alabaster stone.

The LED light intensifies the natural, inherent interplay of light and shadow.

Alabaster has been carved and treated with traditional working techniques to enhance the natural quality of the stone.
